Fatal Slip in New Spider-Man Movie!

It is apparent to me that there was some big secret yet kept from viewers contained within Columbia Picture's latest blockbuster, The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. They left a single clue, just one, that only very detail-oriented observers would pick up on.
For those of you who have seen the movie, I shall explain. Don't worry, no spoilers. When young Peter Parker (Garfield) searches for clues to his parents' mysterious disappearence twelve or so years ago, he comes across a Web page about Dr Curtis Conners, featuring a photo of him with the caption Updated yesterday. But when Parker reads Conners' book, he sees the same picture on the back cover. If that photo had been taken "yesterday," then exactly how was it on the back cover of a book? Well, this is the secret that shall be revealed in the next movie: Curt Conners is a time traveller! Yes, that is the only explanation as to this mysterious picture cropping up many times in the movie. He is a time traveller, and there's nothing you can do to stop it!

  1. Or Conners is actually a devious publisher who slapped the picture on to his book!
Or rather, just because it was "Updated", it doesn't mean it was taken yesterday. Maybe Conners is thoughtful of people like me who have to put up with slow internet, so decided to put a lower resolution image yesterday. You never know.
