H2G2-4 Screenshots

I promised I'd post more often, so here are some clips I made using my H2G2-4 models:

Here's a lineup of some of the characters. (From left to right) Prostetnic Vogon Jelts, HumaCaboola, Marvin the Paranoid Android, Zaphod Beeblebrox, Arthur Dent, Ford Prefect, Tricia MacMillian (Trillian), and Slartibartfast.

Arthur and Slartibartfast go for a ride on his planet-obsever.

Zaphod observes the portal on Magrathea. Yes, I know he lost his flip-face by the time they get there, but hey, it's just a screenshot.

Trillian wishes for home while the guys argue it out.

A dolphin and his good friend Jelts.

I finally fixed his hair–got that sort of "George Washington" thing goin' on.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Milliway's, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe–maybe a sign for a sequel?

  1. Nice look! Although I think the Lego theme has to be a bit more prevalent. I remember playing the second Lego Starwars, and found some part of it more interesting than the actual game. Maybe you could accompany a game with this?...
Oh, and does this thing have dialogue? I might prefer my Lego not talking, but do what you like, and see how it works out.
    Great!

  2. Well, I was actually, in between the H2G2-4, working on a LEGO X-Men video game. And also, the H2G2-4 will not have dialogue for the characters, but it will have the actual book (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) speaking, with audio clipped straight from the movie. And Another Thing...(book reference) if I decide to also have the first, rather unecissary scene in the movie in my animation, then that will have the audio, too, which you'll understand if you've seen it.
I've kind of been toying with the idea fo, after I've finished this, doing another one, but having it based on the book. There have been six books, one TV show, one radio show, and one movie. The movie covered the first book, and the TV and radio shows covered the first and second. Since the first book is somewhat different from the movie, it remains my plan to do two versions. The one based on the book will have audio clipped from the TV show, and will also have 5 1/2 sequels.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
